Jutta Steinruck, Mayor of Ludwigshafen

As Lord Mayor, it makes me particularly proud to see how the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences has developed over five decades. It is one of the leading life science locations in Germany and one of the strongest research institutions in Rhineland-Palatinate. It also enjoys a very good reputation among experts and employers.
Over the past 50 years, our university has matured into an indispensable building block of our urban development, providing important impulses for the city and society in addition to research and teaching. HWG is a place of diversity, a place of equality and a place of change - always on the cutting edge. Students, scientists and employees bring life to our city: always new faces, nationalities and above all always young people full of ideas, commitment and energy. I look forward to continuing the interesting and progressive cooperation with the university, which will help us as a city to move forward. HWG is a great asset for Ludwigshafen and I congratulate it warmly on its 50th anniversary - also on behalf of the city board, council and administration.

Ulrich flour

As a graduate of this university in 1978, I send my best congratulations on the anniversary. The studies in the years 1975-1978 were a very nice and successful time for me. After a failed university study, the university was exactly the right thing for me in these years and has given me a good professional future. Once again THANK YOU for this. LG

Michael Cordier

I would like to thank the university for its dedicated efforts to actively support our city of Ludwigshafen in city marketing.

Dominik Heberling, BASF

"The pursuit of knowledge is a natural disposition of all human beings" (Aristotle). Congratulations on the 50th anniversary and thank you for encouraging and supporting many young people in their pursuit of knowledge over the past 50 years!

Dr. Antje Louis

The development of Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences into today's Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences is indeed impressive.

Despite conditions that have not always been easy, those responsible have managed in an exemplary manner to strategically align the university in such a way that it is ideally equipped to meet the demands of the future. The integration of new courses of study, the up-to-date design of teaching content, the growing number of students and the creation of spatial capacities have all contributed to the institution's steady increase in attractiveness. The cooperations with competent partners are certainly another milestone. It is a pleasure to be able to accompany the development of the university as a member of the sponsoring association.

Congratulations!

Marion Schneid, Member of the German Parliament

Congratulations on 50 years of HWG LU!
I am very proud of my former university of applied sciences! It has developed steadily, picking up on social and economic developments. This has created important and qualified offers for students. All the best and continued success!

Andreas Schülke, Student Union Vorderpfalz

Education is not everything, but without education everything is nothing!

50 years of work for education is in itself a milestone that one can look back on with great pride. But in 50 years, we can only take our hats off to the continuous development, improvement of structures and constant enrichment of Ludwigshafen as a place of education.

I very much hope that in the future we will focus much more on the central role of education for our society and do everything politically, socially and economically to ensure that this great asset can continue to flourish. After all, as John F. Kennedy once said, "There is only one thing more expensive in the long run than education: no education."

We look forward to the next 50 years, wishing the university team the courage, stamina and support necessary to continue building the university of tomorrow. Of course, we are especially looking forward to the completion of the new building on Ernst-Boehe-Strasse as the next milestone on your timeline and hopefully more life on campus soon.

So: Chapeau and congratulations from the Studierendenwerk Vorderpfalz!

Jörg Oswald, Managing Director Brain Appeal

HWG-LU can look back on 50 successful years, and the cooperation with our agency "Brain Appeal" spans a notable portion of these. We are proud to be part of this success story as a long-standing software partner. And we look forward to continuing to make our contribution to further increasing the attractiveness of the research and educational institution HWG-LU on the Internet as well. In short: Congratulations and all the best for the future!

Tatjana Kamrad, Savings Bank Vorderpfalz

Congratulations on 50 years of impressive educational work! As a member of the Friends of the University, I experience the impressive work of the university in many ways: committed to the further development of the university's presence, with a high level of effort to always adapt learning content and methods to current developments, and with heart and soul when it comes to the students. For this, a big praise!

Dr. Michael Böhmer

As a long-standing member of the Board of Trustees of the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences and a former board member of the Friends and Sponsors of the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences and its stakeholders on the occasion of its anniversary, combined with my thanks to the employees / professors and others of the university for their outstanding commitment.

As an "old Ludwigshafener", entrepreneur and consultant, I am convinced that it is particularly important for the Ludwigshafen location that the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences exists, that it remains equipped with this quality and that it can continue to develop positively on this good basis. That is my wish for the university.

Oliver Hoffmann, Founder and Managing Director Northwind Filmagentur

As a graduate of this university in 2011, I send my best congratulations on the anniversary. My time at the university not only had a strong impact on me professionally and professionally, but also personally. For example, I founded my own company after graduation and found my wife during my semester abroad. For this and for all the support I experienced during my studies, I want and need to say thank you.

I look forward to the next 50 years and wish the university team continued success in forging the talent of tomorrow.

Moritz Plathe, ZEIT Publishing House

We send our heartfelt congratulations from the Elbe to the Rhine and thank you for the many years of good cooperation!

Hans-Jürgen Rapp

I would like to congratulate the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences on its extremely successful development. Its future- and application-oriented teaching represents a particularly important link between theory and practice. Professors and teaching staff use modern methods to impart practical, important knowledge, as strategic partnerships with global corporations also confirm. Students find an ideal, contemporary environment for learning.

Both as a member of the Board of the Association of Sponsors and Friends of the University and as a former student and executive of BASF in cooperation with the University, my experience has been the best.

I wish the university many more successes in the future and continued recognition in the business community and society.

Best regards

Gerhard Webel, Mannheimer Morgen

Congratulations HWG!

As Mannheimer Morgen celebrates its 75th birthday this year, we know what commitment and how much perseverance are needed to be successful over decades.
For that, our deepest respect!

We hope that our media and the print and digital offerings of HaasMedia were able to contribute to this success.

In particular, we would like to thank the university communications department for its close and constructive cooperation, for example with the business magazine econo.

We hope that we can continue to contribute to education in the region together for many years to come...
