B.A. in International Business Administration with specialization in Management

  • Extended business education, e.g.. business administration, economics, HR and Marketing.
  • Deepen your business knowledge with subjects such as e.g. international business relations, corporate governance and international trade.
  • Develop your language skills by learning a second business language (Spanish, French) as well as improving your Business English skills.
  • Build your soft skills through subjects such as management communications, professional skills, critical thinking, and rhethoric skills.
  • Specialization in the field of management and building of language skills through Business English lectures, lectures in English as well as learning a second business language starting in the third semester (possibility to choose between Russian, Spanish or French depending on demand).
  • Convey intercultural competencies, e.g. in the modules Intercultural Awareness and Intercultural Management.
  • An obligatory semester abroad during the sixth semester. Choice between studying abroad at one of our around 100 partner universities or an internship semester with an international.
  • Numerous lectures with interactive elements and application orientated exercises.
  • Optimal exchange between students and lecturers through direct contact within small groups.
  • Wide range of types of teaching and learning. For example: lectures, exercises at the PC-pools, tutorials, panel discussions, blended learning, workshops and project works.

The bachelor’s program International Business Administration with specialization in Management is an admission-restricted degree. To be eligible for this degree an applicant must possess the university entrance qualification according to § 65 Abs. 1 und 2 HochSchG (F.e. Allgemeine Hochschulreife, Fachgebundene Hochschulreife, Fachhochschulreife or an equally valid foreign secondary school certification. It is also possible to apply with previous professional qualifications). Applicants must nothave their right to university examinations revoked.

  • Admissions for the bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration with specialization in Management take place twice a year. Applications must be submitted before January the 15th (Summer Semester – lectures start in March) and 15th of July (Winter Semester – lectures start in October).   • Good proficiency in mathematics, English (spoken and written, minimum level B2) and native-like command of German are required.
