Building off a solid foundation in quantitative methods and macroeconomics, the main functions in accounting, financial management, operations management, and marketing are also covered. The use of modern information technologies in the business environment is also part of the curriculum. Courses such as “Management and Organizational Behavior” and “Advanced Managerial Economics” teach management skills. The final course in Management, “Strategic Management and Policy Formation,” is held during a three-week visit to the campus of the University of West Florida, in Pensacola and serves as a capstone for the entire program of study.

Course of Studies

The program begins with a two-week visit to the campus of the University of West Florida in Pensacola, where the first three courses are begun. They are completed in the following months at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society.

The further program of studies is structured so that each individual course is completed over a period of two months. On-campus lectures for each respective course always take place during two weekends per month (Friday from 17.00-21.00; Saturday from 9.00-17.00) at the Transatlantic Institute of the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society.

A detailed syllabus will be provided for each course. It enables participants to prepare for on-campus classes and course assignments (for example, presentations, case studies, group work, company projects, etc.).
