Admission to the master's degree programme
Required for an admission to the master's degree programme is a bachelor's degree in health care economics, business administration with focus on the health care sector or a comparable degree with a final grade of at least 2,5 and 210 credit points. Graduates with a bachelor's degree of 180 credit points and a final grade of at least 2,5 are permitted to take part in a pre-course in order to catch up upon the missing 30 credit points.
Out of the 210 credit points of the bachelor's degree there have to be at least:
- 10 credit points out of the field of statistics and evaluation within the health care economics
- 6 credit points out of the field of public health/medical knowledge or evidence of a nursing degree or similar
- 6 credit points out of the field of knwolegde of the German health care system
- 12 credit points out of the field of management and controlling.
An admission to the master's degree programme with a final grade of inferior to 2,5 is possible by passing an aptitude test, where the above mentioned fields are tested. Furthermore, a covering letter is essential.
We recommend German language skills at the C1 level to our students, as only one out of the eight modules will be held in English languague.
