Bachelor Programs in the Department of Social Work and Health Care
- Target groups of the Dual Cooperative Study Program include highly skilled trainees in Midwifery with a qualification for university and/or university of applied sciences entrance, or an equivalently recognized educational background, as well as certified midwives with qualification for university entrance.
- Target groups of the Dual Cooperative Study Program in Nursing include highly qualified trainees in adult, pediatric, and geriatric nursing care with a qualification for university and/or university of applied science entrance, or an equivalently recognized educational background. Under certain conditions, professionally qualified caregivers are allowed to enter the program during the first phase.
- Nursing Education is a full-time, modularly structured Bachelor’s degree program with a standard period of study of seven semesters. Students acquire pedagogical and nursing skills. A significant feature of the program is the close link between theory and practical application of skills.
- The Bachelor’s program in Social Work is particularly interesting for those who reflect on societal problems and structures in the context of social inequality and exclusion and are looking for opportunities to help people come to a self-determined way of life using the dialogic methods of Social Work.
