Despite globalization and digital transformation, the focus is still on people.
Ethical and social values remain essential components in organizations, companies and
society. The "Wagner Family Award" is dedicated to this objective by awarding prizes to
outstanding scientific work which, building on sound specialist knowledge,
addresses human, social, economic and/or ecological aspects. This can take place by
practice-referred arguments just like by theoretical concept work.
The three best submitted works will be awarded the following cash prizes:
1st prize: €1,500
2nd prize: €1,000
3rd prize: €500
Final theses from all degree programs at the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences
Business and Society that were completed between May 30, 2018 and May 30, 2019
may be submitted.
Applications for the award can be submitted by students and university lecturers
. Three bound copies as well as a CD-Rom of the thesis, a one-page
abstract of the thesis, a completed application form and a review by a
university lecturer* of the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences are required.
Deadline for submission is June 28, 2019.

This year, the sponsorship award will be presented under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Klaus Blettner of
Marketing und Personalmanagement (FB II). The jury for the
selection of the award winners is composed of: Mr. Dr. Dieter Wagner, Mr. Rev. Dr. Günter
Geisthardt, Mrs. Prof. Dr. Elke Raum, Mr. Prof. Dr. Harry Müller, Mr. Dieter Ott, Mr. Prof. Dr.
Andreas Rein, as well as Mrs. Tamara Ott and Mrs. Irina Chzhao as representatives of the students of the
University of Applied Sciences Ludwigshafen.
