On Tuesday, February 3, 2026, the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society welcomed an international group of students from the renowned EBS University of Business and Law and program director Anita Alami to the Ludwigshafen campus. Vice President Prof. Dr. Edith Rüger-Muck welcomed the guests on behalf of the university management and introduced the university, its large international network and the new pilot course "Business Administration with a focus on Logistics for Students from Abroad (B.A.)".
Prof. Dr. Dieter Thomaschewski, Professor of Business Administration, in particular Management and Honorary Professor at Danube University Krems, then presented the university's Institute for Management and Innovation (IMI), which he heads as Scientific Director. A lecture on "Global world in transition-challenges for corporate management and society" rounded off the program at HWG LU before the EBS group from Oestrich-Winkel continued on to the BASF Visitor Center.
This visit was intended to help initiate and develop a fruitful relationship for both sides. Prof. Dr. Dieter Thomaschewski has been in contact with EBS for many years, including with Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hommel through their joint membership of the Schmalenbach working group "Corporate Growth and International Management".
