Strengthening international partnerships: 3rd VIP network meeting at the HWG LU

From May 4 to 8, 2026, the Department of Services & Consulting (III) at Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society is welcoming a total of 14 European partner universities to this year's meeting of the VIP network (Valuable International Partnerships).

The network was founded two years ago in Leiria/Portugal and is now entering its third round. In addition to personal exchanges, the week will focus in particular on the further development of joint education and cooperation formats. A special focus is on the so-called Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs) - funded short-term stays abroad, which are already being used successfully by our students and are attracting growing interest.

In addition, the network meeting offers a wide range of opportunities to initiate new teaching collaborations, joint projects and to intensify cooperation in research and internationalization.

As international networks thrive primarily on personal exchange and relationships between participants, all colleagues are welcome to take part in individual program items or meetings during the week. Short-term or selective participation is also possible at any time. Please send a short e-mail to Jacob Wolff or Christiane Weinerth. We will then provide you with the detailed program and an overview of the participating universities and individuals.

A special highlight is the keynote speech "The Power of Networking" by Christine Heinzel. In addition, a joint wine tasting will provide an opportunity for informal discussions in a relaxed atmosphere.

We are looking forward to an inspiring week of international exchange and collaboration!
