International and practical: students from LU take part in the "CSR within the supply chain" program in Bruges

Analyzing sustainability in global supply chains together with around 50 students from our partner universities in Portugal, Finland, the Netherlands, Austria and Belgium, all in beautiful Bruges - these are just a few of the highlights of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme "CSR within the supply chain - The Responsible Route".

In international teams, the students developed further concepts based on the CSR strategies and external sources of 14 international brewery chains on how sustainability in the supply chain can be further improved along the dimensions of "People, Planet, Profit". The best ideas were awarded prizes in the final pitch, which of course included students from HWG LU.

In addition to various workshops, game-based learning sessions and interactive learning formats, the visit to the port of Zeebrugge and the beautiful old town of Bruges offered plenty of variety and space for personal exchange with students and lecturers.

Many thanks to Simeon Gkontokos and Prof. Dr. Manoj A. Gupte for accompanying and organizing the programme!
