Since the winter semester 2023/24, the degree programs in Business Psychology have complemented the range of courses offered at HWG LU. A special feature of the degree programs is the close integration of research and education.
As part of the course "Experimental and instrumental methods", led by Professor Dr. Lan Cao, students not only gain theoretical insights into modern research methods, but can also experience and try out various instrumental methods in practice. These include eye tracking, EDA, HRV and EEG measurements. Robotics and age simulation suits are also among the modern research topics in business psychology.
The regular visits to the Behavioral Science Research Laboratory (VWL) show how practically oriented study and research are combined at the HWG. The students benefit in particular from this close connection. Many thanks go to the head of the VWL, Prof. Dr. Gerhard Raab, and his team for their commitment in making this possible and for the exciting insights into the research work.
