The Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society is changing its VPN access: OpenVPN will be switched off at the end of April and replaced by eduVPN.
With eduVPN, students can also connect securely to the university network from home or on the move. Your own device behaves as if it were directly on campus. This means that access to library databases, e-journals, internal university services and education and server services is also possible outside of the university.
The connection is encrypted and protects against data being read, especially in public WLAN networks. Logging in is straightforward using the known university ID. eduVPN is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android.
Important: OpenVPN will be deactivated at the end of April. Please set up eduVPN on your devices in good time so that access to internal services is still possible without restrictions.
