Declaration on accessibility in accordance with the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance of Rhineland-Palatinate (BITV RP) of 03.06.2019.

In accordance with Section 1 (2) BITV RP in conjunction with the Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523 of the Commission of the European Union of 11.10.2018 (L256/105), the following is declared regarding accessibility:

The website https://www.hwg-lu.de and the associated mobile applications are partially compatible with accessibility requirements.
 

3.       Non-accessible content

• It does not have a version in easy language.
• It does not have a version in sign language.
• Alternative texts and meaningful link texts are still being added in places.
• Videos usually do not have subtitles.
• Keyboard operability not guaranteed throughout

The consideration procedure according to § 4 BITV and Article 5 (2) of DIRECTIVE (EU) 2016/2102 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of October 26, 2016 was carried out. The evaluation showed that it is uneconomical to update the functions on the existing website because this would incur enormous costs. When the website is relaunched, the missing accessible elements will be included.

Until the HWG LU website is relaunched, work will continue on justifiable and affordable measures to optimize accessibility.
