Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, essential services in the field of sexual and reproductive health were disrupted. A shortage of supplies and of health care workers have affected healthcare delivery. On the demand-side, lockdowns and fear of contracting COVID-19 as well as financial hardship has meant that fewer women, children and adolescents can pick up and get the essential services that they need. In this lecture, we look at the secondary effects of the COIVD-19 pandemic and discuss approaches to mitigate them.

She has worked as a technical advisor for the German Development Cooperation, for the United Nations and for international research institutions.
