TestDaF
The Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache - TestDaF - is an international language test for all those who already have a good knowledge of the German language and would like to test this.
Anyone who wants to study at a German university must prove sufficient language skills. This proof can be provided by the TestDaF.
At the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society you can take the TestDaF exam and attend a preparatory course beforehand, which will increase your chances of passing this exam at the desired level.
Information about the TestDaF exam
The TestDaF exam consists of four parts:
Reading Comprehension (with 3 different texts)
Listening Comprehension (with 3 different texts)n
Written Expression and Oral Expression (with 4 different tasks each).
The examination results are assigned to one of three levels in all four examination parts:
TestDaF level 3 (TDN 3)
TestDaF level 4 (TDN 4)
TestDaF level 5 (TDN 5)
Target groups of the TestDaF are
- Students who wish to study in Germany and need proof of their German language skills for this purpose
- Academics who are planning a stay at a university in Germany and want to check their language level
- Students who come to Germany to study through programs of the European Union and want to acquire a qualified language certificate at the end of their stay.

The Testdaf Center offers numerous examination dates per year; the examinations are held partly in paper form and partly digitally.

Directions to Campus Ernst-Boehe-Straße
Arrival by car
- Coming from the A650 from Bad Dürkheim, take the exit in the direction of Bruchwiesenstraße. Then turn left into Bruchwiesenstraße and left again into Ernst-Boehe-Straße.
- Coming from the A650 from Mannheim take the exit Gartenstadt. Finally turn right into Bruchwiesenstraße and then left into Ernst-Boehe-Straße.
Arrival by bus and train
- from Ludwigshafen main station
Take bus line 75 in the direction of Ludwigshafen-Rheingönheim. Get off at the stop Hochschule. The buildings of the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society are on the opposite side of the street.
- From Mannheim main station
Take streetcar line 4 in the direction of Oggersheim to Ludwigshafen-Berliner Platz. From there, take either bus line 76 in the direction of Maudach or line 75 in the direction of Rheingönheim. Get off at the stop Hochschule. The buildings of the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society are on the opposite side of the street.
