For prospective students

Dear prospective students,

Thank you for your interest in our MBA program in Human Resources Management in Department II at the University of Applied Sciences Ludwigshafen.

Successful companies need highly qualified, committed and responsible human resources managers. People who prepare, accompany and fill corporate strategies with life, both inside and outside their HR department.

Admission to the MBA program is based on the following criteria:

  • Completed studies at a university/university of applied sciences or equivalent.

As part of the process of opening up universities to those with professional qualifications, the Rhineland-Palatinate Higher Education Act allows suitable applicants - even those without a first degree - to enter the master's program directly.

The equivalent is a university entrance qualification (e.g. Abitur, Fachhochschulreife or comparable professional further qualification, e.g. human resources specialist or a master craftsman's examination) and additionally several years of relevant professional experience.

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in HR functions.

Applicants with a first degree must also have at least one year of relevant professional experience in HR functions or management positions.

Applicants without a first degree must have at least three years of relevant work experience in HR functions or management positions after university entrance qualification.

  • Proof of English language skills (Toefl test min. 70% or comparable level. Proof can be submitted later in the 1st semester).
  • Successful participation in a selection interview (and, if applicable, in an aptitude test).

In order to get a direct impression of the study program and individual contents, you have the possibility to participate in an ongoing classroom event as a guest auditor. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
