Course description: - First of all, useful content aspects are mentioned when creating new presentations. This also includes the efficient input and structuring of texts using the outline view.
- The next section is the formatting of presentations (e.g. using design templates), where practical tips on important design criteria (including color schemes and typography) are also given.
- Furthermore, the insertion of graphics, tables and other content, including external content (e.g. audio and video files or websites), is demonstrated.
- The smooth and efficient control of the program during the presentation is discussed as well as the use of various animation effects for slides and individual slide elements and their sensible use within a presentation.
- Another section covers the creation of various types of printouts (e.g. handouts, presentation cards, etc.).
- The efficient and individual design of presentations with the master view and saving your own templates are discussed in detail.
- In addition, special features such as the speaker view and the possibility of non-linear presentations, in which the slides can be displayed in any order, are discussed.
- In addition to the technical aspects, practical tips for preparing and giving presentations will also be given at appropriate points.
