The beginners' course includes the following communicative learning objectives:
Ø Saying hello, saying goodbye
Ø Introducing yourself, introducing friends
Ø Giving and asking for personal details (name, nationality, profession)
Ø Asking and answering about the place
Ø Ask and answer in the present tense (do, go)
Ø Everyday conversation
The following grammatical learning objectives are taught:
Ø the Korean syllabary Hangeul - vowels, consonants, syllable structure, pronunciation

Ø the verb: is, there is/there is not, verbs with do, go
Ø the informal polite form
Ø particles - theme particles, subject particles, object particles, local particles
Ø interrogatives - where, what
The vocabulary covers the following topics:
Countries, nationalities, occupations, various objects, place names, verbs for everyday life, Sino-Korean numbers, Korean currency (coins, banknotes).
