As part of our IBAIT MBA Project Management course, my team and I organized a fundraising event called “BBQ for Charity” – a project close to our hearts to support the local children’s hospice Sternthaler.
We hosted a barbecue with 53 guests, bringing people together with good food and great company – all for a good cause. Thanks to the generosity and support of everyone who joined, we raised €330, which we proudly donated to Kinderhospiz Sternthaler.
But this project was more than just about collecting donations – it was a chance to practice real teamwork, event planning, and social responsibility in action. It reminded us how even a small event can create a meaningful impact.
Our goal was simple: show that social engagement can be fun, impactful, and accessible. And maybe even inspire others to take that first step, no matter how small.
