From February 8 to 10, 2024, the 7th International Conference of the German Society for Midwifery Science (DGHWi) and the 1st Conference on Pedagogical Work in Midwifery Studies (in cooperation with the German Midwifery Association) took place at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Berlin. Part of the team from the Midwifery Studies Department at the HWG LU had the opportunity to take part. In addition to interesting and innovative presentations, there was also time for professional exchange with colleagues from other universities.
The Department of Midwifery Science also represented the HWG LU at the conference with a presentation, two workshops and several poster presentations. One of the posters also won a prize in the poster competition.
Students from the department also took part in the conference. One student from the Midwifery degree program received a free membership to the DGHWi for the best degree in her year.
The team of the Department of Midwifery Science would like to thank the DGHWi, the German Midwifery Association and the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Berlin for organizing these exciting conferences!
