Enrollment

As a rule, enrollment takes place electronically in the application portal. Once you have received an acceptance letter, you must apply for enrollment in the application portal and upload the documents for enrollment.

In any case, please adhere to the enrollment deadline stated in the admission!

For a successful enrollment, the following points must be observed

1. apply for enrollment online

For enrollment, please proceed as follows:

Apply for enrollment in the application portal, confirm the queries and complete the missing information.

The enrollment can only be carried out if you have received a letter of admission or a confirmation of a study place.

2. proof of payment of the semester fee and tuition fee, if applicable.

The bank details of the Landeshochschulkasse Mainz for the transfer of the semester fee and, if applicable, a tuition fee can be found on this page "Semesterbeitrag".

3. electronic health insurance registration

According to § 5 Abs. 1 Nr. 9 und 10 SGB V students have to present the insurance certificate of a health insurance company when enrolling at a university. More info can be found here:"Health Insurance"
 

4. identity card

Please upload the front and back of your valid ID card in the application portal.

5. application-related documents

Please inform yourself in the application portal which application-related documents are still missing and upload them accordingly.

6. Higher semester

In the case of admission to a higher semester, an oral advising session is held by the department.
The corresponding contact person can be found under the degree program on our degree program overview.

7. passport photo for the StudiCard in electronic form

8. general consent for minors

If you are a minor at the time of enrollment, then you must upload a completed General Consent for Minors signed by your/your legal guardian to the portal with your enrollment documents.

After successful enrollment by the SSC student management, you will receive an info email asking you, among other things, to log in to the portal, where a PDF file with your matriculation number is ready.

Withdrawal from enrollment

Withdrawal is only possible until the official start of the courses (See semester dates).
In case of withdrawal, please send the request for refund to us

Due to our home office, please make an appointment if you wish to have personal contact with yourkt to your clerk!
