Occupational health management

Occupational health management encompasses all measures that can contribute both to the promotion of individual health and to a healthy organization.

The aim of occupational health management is to optimize employees' stress levels and strengthen personal resources. Good working conditions and quality of life at the workplace sustainably promote health and motivation

Operational integration management (BEM)

§Section 84 (2) of the German Social Security Act IX (SBG IX) obliges every employer to carry out occupational integration management and thus actively look after the health of employees.

All employees who are incapacitated for work for more than 6 weeks within a 12-month period areentitled to occupational integration management. It is irrelevant whether the employees are unfit for work for an uninterrupted period of 6 weeks or whether several absences add up to 6 weeks.

The implementation of company integration management is voluntary. An invitation to an interview is issued when a total of 6 weeks of incapacity for work has been reached within 12 months. In this meeting, joint goals and measures to overcome the inability to work are defined.
