E-mail account

An e-mail account is automatically created for each student when they enrol at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society. This account can be used for internal communication or for receiving external emails. The login details for the new email system are identical to those for the PC pools (...W-Lan, VPN, OLAT via Shibboleth) at the university.

Your e-mail address is usually as follows:

Vorname.Nachname@studmail.hwg-lu.de

The e-mail address may differ in rare cases, e.g. if your name is too long or the name has already been assigned. You can also look up your address yourself in the webmail client.

Retrieval via the webmail client (browser)

The Outlook-web-app (OWA) offers the possibility to manage emails in the browser.

Help for the Outlook-web-app (OWA)

After logging in via the IDP, the initial setup follows.
The first step is a data protection declaration, after which the time zone must be selected (+1 Berlin, Amsterdam).

After the initial setup, you can make full use of the OWA.

Retrieval via a mail program
