Shape the supply chains of tomorrow
Global flows of goods, digitalization and sustainable supply chains are shaping the economy of today and tomorrow. On our Bachelor's degree course in Business Administration with a focus on logistics for international students, you will learn how companies can efficiently design their procurement, production and distribution processes and successfully manage international supply chains.
You will combine business know-how with modern logistics management, digital technologies and practical applications. Through the integrated language program, you will also develop your German language skills up to academic level C1 and prepare yourself optimally for your career in Germany and internationally.
Logistics along the entire supply chain
During your studies, you will get to know the entire value chain of modern companies - from the procurement of raw materials to production and storage to distribution to customers worldwide. You will understand how the individual areas of a supply chain are connected and what impact decisions in one area have on the entire supply chain. You will develop practical solutions for current logistics challenges, for example for efficient material flows, sustainable transportation concepts or digitally controlled warehouse and production systems. This will prepare you specifically for tasks in modern industrial, retail and logistics companies.
Business management expertise
In addition to the logistics focus, you will receive a sound business education. You will learn how companies plan, manage and make economic decisions. This will give you a holistic understanding of economic relationships and enable you to take on both operational and strategic tasks later on.
Digitization & ERP systems
Digital technologies are fundamentally changing logistics - and you will learn how to use them professionally. During your studies, you will focus on business informatics, data analysis and modern information systems.
You will develop an understanding of how digital tools support companies in planning, controlling and optimizing their processes.
German up to level C1
A special feature of the degree programs is the integrated language program for international students. You will develop your German language skills step by step up to academic level C1.
This means that you will learn to understand academic texts, give presentations, hold technical discussions and move confidently in everyday academic and professional life. This will provide you with an important foundation for your successful entry into the German job market.
Practical education
Theory and practice are closely linked during the course. You will work with realistic case studies, visit companies and gain insights from experts in the field. This allows you to apply your knowledge directly, make professional contacts and gain valuable experience for your future career path.

Study free of charge
You do not pay tuition fees at HWG LU. There is only a semester fee of around €145, which includes various services for students and offers you additional financial planning security.
Flexible learning
The course is predominantly face-to-face on campus and is supplemented by digital education and learning formats. This allows you to benefit from personal interaction with lecturers and fellow students as well as a modern and flexible learning environment.
Central campus with good accessibility
The HWG LU campus is centrally located in Ludwigshafen am Rhein and is easily accessible both by public transport and by car. Short distances and a modern infrastructure ensure optimal study conditions.
Living and studying in Germany
Ludwigshafen is located in an economically strong region with numerous companies from industry, trade and logistics. This means you benefit from attractive practical and career opportunities during and after your studies. Content & procedure
Over the course of your studies, you will gradually build up a sound knowledge of business administration and logistics. At the same time, you will develop your language skills up to level C1 through the integrated German program and prepare yourself optimally for your studies and career in Germany. The first semesters focus on business fundamentals, accounting, law, marketing and business informatics. You will then deepen your knowledge in the areas of investment, finance, statistics, ERP systems and quantitative logistics. In the higher semesters, you will focus on current topics such as digitalization, transport logistics, procurement management and supply chain management. The integrated practical semester offers you the opportunity to apply your knowledge directly in a company before completing your studies with the Bachelor's thesis.

Admission requirements for the course
To be able to apply for the program, you need:
- A qualification for university entrance equivalent to the German Abitur
- German language skills of at least B2 level
- English language skills of at least B2 level
We accept the following certificates (maximum two years old):
- DSH 1 (issued by a German university)
- Goethe-Zertifikat B2
- TestDaF with a result of at least 3x TDN 3
- ÖSD B2 certificate
- telc German B2
