Bachelor and Master Nursing Education in a nutshell

The demand for well-qualified teaching staff is currently very high and will remain so in the future.
The consecutive master's program "Nursing Education" at the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences is a modular full-time program with a standard study period of three semesters.
During the course of study, students acquire competencies for dealing with complex tasks and problems as well as competencies for the independent control of processes in the field of pedagogy.
The contents are optimally adapted to the future requirements of the teaching staff. This is a teacher training master's degree program that fulfills the requirements of §9 of the Nursing Professions Act. All study contents of the three-semester Master's program are assigned to one of the six different thematic study areas.

Admission requirements

The consecutive Master's program in Nursing Education requires a first professional university degree in nursing education of at least 210 ECTS including a completed professional training.

A further prerequisite is a sound knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research, which must be demonstrated by relevant achievements totaling at least 15 ECTS.
