Are you looking for a place to play, want to discover new games, or need people to play your favorite game with? Then stop by our open game night! Whether it’s board games, card games, or trading card games—the focus is on playing together and having a relaxing time on campus.

We’ve now gathered a group of familiar faces and regular players. But new players are always welcome! It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced gamer or just curious and want to try something new.

Here’s how game night works

Game night takes place regularly in the new HWG LU cafeteria and is completely open to everyone. No registration is required—anyone who’s interested can just drop by.

You can bring your own game and look for other players, or join an existing group. There’s also always a small selection of games available on site, so you can drop by spontaneously even without bringing your own.

Whether you’re alone, in a pair, or in a group—all HWG LU students and staff are welcome. You’re welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks or organize them yourselves.

In addition to the open game night, we host our expert game afternoon, “Teach & Play.” Here, there’s more time for more extensive and challenging games.

Ideas and Special Game Events

In addition to the regular game nights, special activities and game events may also take place. Ideas for tournaments, themed nights, or specific games are always welcome.
