Awards

  • Bachelor's degree programs

Once a year, the sponsoring association awards a prize for the best practice-oriented Bachelor's thesis and the best Bachelor's graduate.

Practice-oriented theses with a focus on business administration are eligible for the prize for the best Bachelor's thesis.

In addition to the business orientation of the degree program, the best overall grade is also taken into account when awarding the prize to the best Bachelor's graduate. If the grade point averages are the same, the better grade in the Bachelor's thesis applies. If these grades are also equal, the higher practical relevance and the ability to implement the results of the Bachelor's thesis in a timely manner apply. The latter is assessed by a panel of experts. The prizes are endowed with 500 euros each .
  • Consecutive Master's degree programs

Since 2011, a prize has been awarded for the best graduate for the consecutive Master's degree programs. From 2023, the best Master's thesis will also be awarded for the first time. The criteria are the same as for the Bachelor's degree. The aim of this funding is to provide students with a special incentive to perform and to contribute to increasing the attractiveness of the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society.

The emergency fund - help for foreign students

The emergency aid fund provides financial support for foreign students from non-EU countries who are in financial difficulties through no fault of their own. The aim is to ensure that they can continue their studies without delay and complete them successfully. Students must have successfully completed the first part of their studies and present a study plan which shows that they are working in a structured and degree-oriented manner. The funding generally covers a period of six months and can be extended for a further six months. The fund is financed exclusively by donations and is therefore dependent on broad support. The funds go 100 percent to the students.
