On Oct. 26, 2022, three majors from the "Services and Consulting" department took an excursion to the finance and insurance industry trade show (https://www.die-leitmesse.de/) in Dortmund, Germany. The fair offered our nearly 50 students the opportunity to talk to 276 exhibitors at booths, speakers corners and during seminars and to gain access to the central platform of the industry, where global players as well as traditional companies, niche providers and start-ups present their products and services. Our students gained exciting market and industry insights and were able to casually exchange ideas with experts about career and contact opportunities, as well as internships or application-oriented theses. Networking between the participating degree programs also worked extremely well, and the first cross-degree project teams have already been formed. Students from the Bachelor's program "Business Administration with a Focus on Finance", the Bachelor's program "Business Taxation and Auditing" and the Master's program "Finance & Accounting" took part.
