Large crowd at the "Open House" on November 23rd

On Saturday, 23.11.2019, the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences (HWG LU) invited all interested parties to the "Open Day" on the campus at Ernst-Boehe-Straße 4 in 67059 Ludwigshafen from 10:00 to 14:00: On the first floor of the A-building, the university presented itself and its wide range of studies in the fields of economics, social sciences and health care. In addition to the presentation of the study programs, the four departments and the university facilities, there was a lot on offer at the "Open Day" at the university in Ludwigshafen: Taster lectures and info. lectures, campus guidance, library or refectory attendance as well as several action conditions like the sensor technology conditions of the course of studies viticulture resident in Neustadt & Oenologie, the wheel of fortune of the university communication or the photo action conditions of the office Alumni. The Department of Social and Health Services, which is actually located on Maxstraße, the Neustadt Wine Campus, and the East Asia Institute (OAI), which is located on the Rhine Promenade, were also present on site, as were the Graduate School Rhine-Neckar, the Center for Scientific Continuing Education (ZWW), the International Office, and the Alumni Office, and answered the questions of the approximately 500 interested guests. The BaföG office and the Deutschlandstipendium also provided information about the possibilities of financing studies.

The information lectures "Social work ... study! Information on the content and structure of the bachelor's degree program in social work" with Prof. Dr. Peter Rahn and Norman Böttcher, and "Courses offered by the Department of Marketing and Human Resource Management" by Prof. Dr. Klaus Blettner. But also the other taster lectures and short presentations, for example on business informatics, controlling, business administration, health economics or the East Asia Institute (OAI) of the university enjoyed good demand.

For all prospective students who are not yet sure in which direction they should go professionally, the department of studies & Teaching also offered a workshop lasting several hours, in which the strengths and weaknesses of the participants were worked out together and compared with the requirements of certain fields of study.
