Over 1000 guests celebrate the successful graduation of this year's graduates on campus
On Friday, July 11, 2025, the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society held its second graduation ceremony directly on the university campus in Ludwigshafen-Mundenheim after last year's great success. With the best festive weather, the response was once again overwhelming: over 1,000 guests celebrated the successful graduation of this year's graduates.
This year's event also began with parallel certificate handover ceremonies, which the four Departments organized individually for the newly graduated alumni and their families and friends with great commitment and creative skill. Afterwards, at the joint champagne reception, University President Professor Dr. Gunther Piller welcomed the guests and congratulated the graduates on their successful degrees: "You have successfully completed your studies. This is a great achievement and we would like to congratulate you. You are now starting your professional future with your certificate. Make the best possible use of your opportunities!" said Piller.
Tatjana Kamrad, Chairwoman of the association "Förderer der Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society e.V.", then charmingly encouraged students to stay in touch with the university via the association even after successfully completing their studies: "For just 25 euros a year, you are not only doing something good for your old university and subsequent students, but also benefiting yourself: Our sustainable network can be a real game changer in your professional development," said Kamrad.
After the official part with the awarding of certificates and a champagne reception, the graduation ceremony turned into a relaxed summer party with cool drinks, street food, music and dancing. "It's always great to have so much life on campus and the new grounds proved their worth once again this time," said a delighted President Piller.
In the 2024/2025 academic year, a total of around 1,120 graduates - Bachelors, Masters and MBA - successfully completed their degrees at HWG LU.
