The Rhineland-Palatinate Minister of Science, Prof. Dr. Konrad Wolf (r.), and the President of the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Peter Mudra, signed the target agreement for the "Zukunftsvertrag Studium und Lehre stärken" (Strengthening the future contract for studying and teaching) in Worms on Sept. 28, 2020.
As a federal-state agreement, the Zukunftsvertrag replaces the Higher Education Pact that has been in effect since 2007. In Rhineland-Palatinate, the agreement is called "Higher Education Initiative for Good Studies and Good Teaching" and is valid from 2021 to 2026.
