On the topic of "How well do I know my environment?" the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society invited children and their families to a colorful family day with games, fun and hands-on activities at the campus in Ludwigshafen-Mundenheim as part of the Children's University event series on Saturday, September 21, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m..
A colorful supporting program with knowledge rally, lectures, bouncy castle, giant soap bubbles, face painting, balloon modeling, popcorn and one or two surprises awaited the young and old guests. Also for the physical well-being was provided.
Even after the colorful family day, the children's university program at the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences will continue: For example, in the winter semester 2019/20, the topics "Do you like programming with Scratch?" with Prof. Dr. Peer Küppers, "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" in cooperation with the Ludwigshafen City Library, or "Racism - what is it really?" with Diversity Manager Petra Schorat-Waly are on the agenda.

The free Children's University lectures are aimed at children aged eight to thirteen and are a joint campaign of the Ministry of Science, Further Education and Culture of Rhineland-Palatinate with the state's universities and the SWR Tigerentenclub.
