TI alumni win 2016 SECRA Best Student Case Award.
The Southeast Case Research Association (SECRA) presents two awards each year: The "Best Case of the Conference" and the "Best Student Case of the Conference."
The case "Tesla Motors: A Case Study One Step Beyond" was nominated for the "Best Student Case" back in January 2016. It was written by Lisa Göttert, Katja Hehne and Benjamin Fitzner as part of their MBA studies at the Transatlantic Institute. Co-author Prof. Dr. Blaine Lawlor from the University of West Florida accompanied the three former students to the 24th Annual SECRA Conference in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. With great enthusiasm, the three MBAs presented their case to the conference participants on February 27, 2016, and full of joy and pride they finally accepted the award.
The direct practical relevance is one of the great advantages of working with case studies during the MBA program. Many companies have already recognized the importance and relevance of these studies. Cases and papers written as part of the MBA program have already helped some alumni of the Transatlantic Institute to make remarkable career leaps.
We congratulate our alumni on this award!
