Students on the logistics degree program visited Contargo Rhein-Neckar GmbH in Mannheim as part of an excursion. On site, they gained exciting insights into the processes of a modern container terminal and were able to experience the handling of containers at first hand.
During the guided tour of the terminal, not only were logistical processes clearly explained, but current challenges and solutions in intermodal transport were also discussed. The excursions offered participants a valuable opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience and to better understand the complexity of logistics processes in real operations - in line with our guiding principle "Together. Practical. Strong." !
