Graduation ceremony of the Graduate School Rhein-Neckar

On Friday, June 28, 2019, the newly graduated students of the Graduate School Rhein-Neckar (GSRN) received their master certificates in traditional hats and robes. The ceremony took place for the fourth time at the Dorint Kongresshotel Mannheim. The Degree Master of Business Administration (MBA) was awarded in three different fields of study: Business Innovation Management, Engineering Management and IT Management.

In midsummer temperatures, the graduates celebrated the end of two and a half exciting years together with their families, friends, university representatives and lecturers as well as the Graduate School Rhein-Neckar team. Professor Dr. Peter Mudra (President of the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society) and Professor Dr. Sachar Paulus (Director of the MBA IT Management program) congratulated the graduates in their speeches. Professor Mudra quoted the Greek philosopher Heraclitus "Nothing is as constant as change" and thanked above all the families who had made a great contribution to the success of the studies over the past years. Professor Paulus took up the idea and advised the graduates not to think only about the career ahead of them, but to always pay attention to a work-life balance: "You can probably choose your jobs through this further education. A word of warning: choose your path wisely!"

Part-time study is challenging in many ways. Participants must balance work, study and personal life. Nevertheless, graduates do not want to miss their time at the Graduate School Rhein-Neckar. In addition to the many teaching contents oriented to professional practice, they have also established networks and found a friend for life in one or two fellow students. "Studying at the Graduate School Rhein-Neckar is worthwhile. Class fellow students as well as professors and practical experts spur on professional and personal development. The personal support provided by the Graduate School Rhein-Neckar team rounds off the positive overall picture," affirms Thorsten Kosiol, a recent graduate of the Business Innovation Management (MBA) master's program.

As part of the alumni activities and numerous networking events, the graduates remain connected to the Graduate School Rhein-Neckar beyond their studies.
