On November 25, the Green Office's first Climate Fresk workshop took place at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society. Under the motto "Wake up", the participants explored the scientific basis of man-made climate change and worked together to find out how individuals and institutions can take action to slow down and counteract negative effects.
A total of 11 participants took part in the workshop, which was moderated by Jochen Klemm (Climate Fresk Germany). Prof. Dr. Doruk Özdemir and a group of students from the Business Administration degree programs with a focus on sustainability management were also represented.
In a final brainstorming session, small groups collected ideas on how HWG LU and each and every individual can act in a more climate-friendly way. The topics mentioned included mobility, the food on offer in the canteen and design options in the degree programs.
The Green Office would like to thank all participants and looks forward to continuing to work together on a more sustainable university culture.
