Principles for good employment conditions
As a place of teaching and research, universities occupy a special position in society. By dovetailing science and society, they serve as role models. They should also live up to this claim in terms of employment conditions.
In recent years, the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences has specifically addressed the improvement of employment conditions. In addition to the implementation of a strategic human resources development and a company health management, the university's mission statement as well as leadership and service principles of the central units were developed and adopted jointly by employees and managers. The mission statement and the management and service principles form the basis for the employment conditions at our university.
In 2015, discussions were held with the Staff Council and a working group on "good employment conditions". These employment conditions were adopted as a voluntary commitment by the university management and executives in science and administration. An implementation and realization is planned in the next years.
