Content & procedure

The course is designed for four semesters and combines psychological, management-oriented and methodological skills with an international focus.

1st semester:

Fundamentals of Organizational Behavior, Coaching, Personnel Selection and Development, Strategic and International Management, Labor Law, Quantitative Methods.

2nd semester:

Digital HRM, HR IT systems, HR data analytics and AI, strategic HRM, HR trends and the future of work, leadership and organizational development, work economics, qualitative methods.

3rd semester:

Optional semester abroad or practical semester in Germany or abroad.

4th semester:

Master's thesis and defense, colloquium.

The practice-oriented curriculum, combined with international study or practical experience, optimally prepares students for demanding positions in human resources, consulting or other (international) organizations.

Application & Admission

Admission requirements

First, qualified university degree, e.g. a Bachelor's degree, with at least 50% business studies and an average grade of 2.7 or better.

Proof of English B2 level: Proof of Englishlanguage proficiency at B2 level (according to CEFR) is required for the application. This can be provided by the following documents:

  • Language certificate (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.)
  • Certificate from the university confirming successful completion of English-language modules
  • Grade transcript with detailed module description
  • Abitur certificate Please note that the certificate must not be older than 3 years.
