You will learn how to make sound use of suitability diagnostics and how to link strategic HR development with the corporate strategy. From talent management to succession planning: HR becomes a real core competence here.

    • Strategic and International Management

      Manage companies successfully - at home and abroad. You will learn how to conduct strategic analyses, develop business models and master intercultural challenges in global teams. Indispensable tools for HR professionals who want to operate at eye level with top management.

    • Labor law

      Act with legal certainty - from recruitment to dismissal. You will learn how to apply individual and collective employment law in practice, classify works council rights and evaluate employment law issues in an international context.       Understand labor markets - on a national and global level. You will analyze how supply and demand for labor arise, why wage differences exist and what role trade unions and government intervention play. A module that fundamentally sharpens your view of the labor market.

    • Qualitative methods of empirical social research

      6 ECTS

      Look behind the numbers. You will learn qualitative research methods - from interviews and grounded theory to computer-aided analysis with MAXQDA - and carry out your own research project. Ideal for answering complex questions in HR that no statistics can capture.

    • Semester abroad or internship semester at home or abroad

      30 ECTS

      Out of the lecture hall - into practice or the world. In the 3rd semester, you gain real work experience in the HR sector or study at an international partner university.     • Master's thesis colloquium

      2 ECTS

      The colloquium helps you prepare your Master's thesis. You will develop a scientifically sound research question, choose a suitable research design and present your project idea - with feedback from lecturers and fellow students.

      Your scientific masterpiece. You will work independently on a research-relevant question from the field of HR or personnel psychology - methodologically sound, practice-oriented and at a high academic level.

Admission requirements

First, qualified university degree, e.g. a Bachelor's degree, with at least 50% business studies and an average grade of 2.7 or better.
