Graduation 2008
The eleven graduates of the 2007/2008 MBA class had every reason to celebrate on July 28, 2008 in Pensacola, Florida: after 18 intensive months of study, they were finally able to receive their long-awaited Master of Business Administration degree.
They began their studies in January 2007 with a two-week stay on the campus of the University of West Florida (UWF). In the following months, they were taught by professors from UWF and other US partner universities on two weekends each at the Transatlantic Institute in Ludwigshafen am Rhein. For "Strategic Management and Policy formulation", the last of a total of ten courses, the group returned to the campus in Florida to put the knowledge they had acquired over the course of a year and a half to the test.
In a festive ceremony, the Dean of UWF, Prof. Dr. Frank E. Ranelli, the Associate Dean and Program Director Prof. Dr. Tim T. O'Keefe and the Director of the Transatlantic Institute, Prof. Dr. Gerhard Raab, jointly awarded the graduates the academic degree of Master of Business Administration.
