StudentServiceCenter (SSC)
The Student Service Center combines the areas of "Student Management" and "Application Management". Application Management takes care of all matters relating to applications and enrolment. After enrolment, Student Management is responsible for the administrative support of students until they graduate.

News from the SSC
> Second degree course no longer subject to fees from winter semester 2025/2026
In accordance with the fifth state law amending higher education regulations, second degree fees will be abolished in Rhineland-Palatinate. From the winter semester 2025/2026, no tuition fees will be charged for second degree courses.
The fee notifications sent out at the start of studies in accordance with the state ordinance on fees in the areas of science, further education and research dated 27.11.2014 will no longer be valid from winter semester 25/26.
Students who have paid the tuition fee of €700 for winter semester 25/26 can apply for a refund of the semester fee. The application must be sent to ssc@hwg-lu.de.
Students who have received a notice of exmatriculation due to missing tuition fees and wish to continue their studies only have to transfer the semester fee plus the late fee.
