The increasing international networking of capital markets, the increased regulatory requirements as well as current trends pose new challenges for companies, banks, institutions but also investors. Financial decisions are gaining strategic importance and require the development of holistic financing and investment strategies, resulting in a broad spectrum of application-oriented research approaches.
The Institute is a competence center for finance with a focus on asset management, banking, corporate finance and insurance. As an interface between business and science, we promote the exchange and transfer between scientifically based research and business practice.
The Institute is firmly integrated in the Department of Services & Consulting of the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences and bundles application-oriented, finance-related teaching, research and networking activities. In both teaching and research, international cooperation is just as important to us as networking and exchange with local and international corporate, banking and insurance practice.
