Research Topics: Social participation and health care
The faculty of the department pursues independent research questions in the areas of nursing, nursing education, midwifery, and social work. Committed to an interdisciplinary and multiprofessional approach, research perspectives from humanities, humanities, cultural and social science disciplines are integrated.
The research interests of the department can be grouped into the following themes:
- Health, obstetrics, nursing, and dementia - Practice and health care research.
- Development, pedagogy and ethics of nursing and midwifery - Professional research
- History, theory, law and ethics of social work - Professional research
- Social exclusion and critical everyday life research - Practice research
- Flight, migration and racism - practice research
- Childhood, youth and family - practice research
- Over-indebtedness, consumer insolvency and debt counselling
- Aesthetic research
