Doctoral Funding

The Center for Research and Cooperation (ZFK) provides some general tips on its site about doing a doctorate at a university. The following information serves as a supplement for doctoral projects of students of the Department of Social and Health Services.

Social work

A cooperative doctorate is possible at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main on the basis of the cooperation agreement between the University of Applied Sciences Ludwigshafen, Department of Social and Health Sciences, and the Department 04 Educational Sciences of Goethe University. Within the framework of this cooperation agreement, research colloquia, which support students in their doctoral studies, are held on a regular basis.

Information about doctoral studies at Goethe University and admission requirements can be found on the page of the doctoral and master's examination board. Interested students can also contact the research officers.

Nursing education, nursing and midwifery

Doctoral projects in the fields of nursing education, nursing and midwifery can be opened at various faculties of education and health sciences of universities to which individual lecturers of the department are affiliated.
