Children's University Summer Camp 2025: Five days full of discoveries

Our campus has been a hive of activity since Monday: every morning, around 30 children aged between 8 and 12 attend the first HWG LU children's summer camp and immerse themselves in exciting topics.

The program kicked off with the motto "Sustainable snacks" - together they sliced, tasted and talked about environmentally friendly nutrition. On Tuesday, "Languages of our world" was all about new words, characters and cultures. "Discovering strengths, containing talents" was the focus on Wednesday, before the children deciphered "Enigmatic messages at the university" on Thursday. Degree day on Friday will be "Natural City", where the young participants will get to know their surroundings from a new, nature-loving perspective.

The summer camp is organized together with Ludwigshafen partner institutions and the team members of our joint project EMPOWER and shows that learning can not only be exciting, but also really varied.
