Rhineland-Palatinate has a well-developed network structure in various fields of academic work. This also includes basic university and media didactics. Here we have been cooperating profitably for years with

  • the Hochschulevaluierungsverbund Südwest e.V.(HESW ) for basic university didactics and the Rhineland-Palatinate certificate for university didactics and
  • the Virtual Campus Rhineland-Palatinate(VCRP) for offers especially in media and e-didactics, the learning platform OpenOLAT and softwares for video conferencing (BigBlueButton) or the creation of learning videos (Panopto).

In addition, a"Toolbox" was developed in cooperation with the department of studies & Teaching and the Institute for Employment and Employability of the HWG LU. The "Toolbox for good teaching in a diverse student body" contains extensive analyses around diversity in teaching. Based on a concept of learning-relevant diversity, it gives teachers and other interested parties the opportunity to examine the stereotypes behind specific student groups. It also offers suggestions for analyzing course formats, methods, and types of exams based on their consideration of learning-relevant diversity. In addition to the website, further background information is also available in a working paper of the HWG LU.
