On July 14, 2023, the Sustainable Horizons team participated in the graduation ceremony of the HWG LU. This gave Observatory Members Kerstin Gallenstein (Head of the International Office), Ralf Blasek (Managing Director of the Graduate School Rhein-Neckar) and Prof. Dr. Stefanie Hehn (Professor of Corporate Finance and Capital Market Theory) as well as Nils Sitar (Project Manager Sustainable Horizons), the opportunity to engage in an inspiring exchange about the project with the graduates.
A comprehensive insight into the Sustainable Horizons project was given and topics such as education, research, innovation and sustainability were discussed. The graduates had the opportunity to ask questions and contribute their own perspectives.
It was particularly gratifying to have the support of the President of HWG LU, Prof. Dr. Gunter Piller, who also participated in these stimulating discussions and conversations with the project leaders. His presence illustrates the high priority that HWG LU places on sustainability and strengthened the collaboration towards a sustainable future.
Overall, the exchange with the graduates was a valuable opportunity to create increased awareness of sustainability issues and inspire young talents to actively engage in sustainable development.
