Framework:

• To be taken immediately before or during the bachelor thesis.
• Credited with 3 ECTS and is only to be taken in conjunction with the bachelor thesis.

Performance requirements:

• Attendance of the two compulsory courses (compulsory attendance).
  • To be found in the lecture schedule under BCO620 (in SoSe 2022 on 16.05.22 and on 23.05.2022).

1. Event: scientific work with regard to the preparation and presentation of the project outline.
2. Event: presentation or presentation of the project outlines and subsequent group discussion.

• Submission of a successfully accepted project outline (at least 2 pages) to Ms. Notheis (via mail)  e-mail: Katharina.Notheis@hwg-lu.de

Structure of the project outline:

• Preliminary or also fictitious topic, title
• Background, preliminary considerations: which questions have already been dealt with in scientific literature on your topic, which literature, which theories have you already studied? (possible outline in the first level).
• Show the research gap, the open question you want to ask and answer.
• Question, objective: formulate a clear question, a clear objective.
• How do you plan to answer the question? Method, data, what resources do you need (data, methods, technique, knowledge, time, money, subjects, etc.)?
• Schedule: Create a timeline with broad goals and the fine goals.
• Literature: about five sources that you think are important for your question.
