Introductory events for freshmen
Dear first semester students,
We are delighted that you have chosen our "Controlling, Management, HealthCare" department and would like to congratulate you on your admission.
During the introductory week from 04.03.2024 - 08.03.2024, you will receive important information about your studies to help you get started. Please make sure you take part!
The induction week starts on September 18, 2023 with the central first semester welcome by the university management. Further information and the compulsory program of orientation events can be found here. Your courses will then start on 11.03.2024 .
Good technical equipment is essential for studying. In addition to the face-to-face lectures, there will also be virtual lectures. We therefore recommend that you purchase a notebook with a camera and micro if you do not already have one. A stable internet connection is an advantage. You can register with Microsoft and use Office 365 free of charge. You can find the instructions on the IT service page.
When planning your semester, please note that Saturday is a regular lecture day.

Math pre-course for freshmen
The pre-college mathematics course is held each semester before the start of freshman week and is designed to prepare first-year students for college mathematics modules. Current dates for the upcoming course can be found here.
