Have you successfully completed a Bachelor's degree in business administration or psychology? Would you like to continue your studies with a Master of Science in International Marketing and Market and Consumer Psychology? Are you aiming for a management position in an international corporation or an internationally oriented medium-sized company? Would you like to work abroad or hold an internationally oriented position in Germany?
Our degree program aims to train managers in the fields of marketing and market and consumer psychology in business or in the higher public sector who, in addition to sound management and marketing knowledge, also have excellent intercultural and socially responsible skills.

The modules of the Master's program have an explicit international focus. Internationality requires good language skills. We aim to promote this by offering more courses in English.

Our students practise the informal use of English in lectures and discussions. We are not aiming to train them to become "native speakers"; the focus is always on the specialist content. Case studies from renowned business schools are a key teaching format. In this way, our students gain skills that can be transferred from the case study situation across company, industry, market and national borders.

We expressly welcome the integration of exchange students (e.g. our Erasmus students at the university) in our Master's courses and for our own students, a stay abroad in a non-German-speaking country is planned in the 3rd semester in order to acquire the most diverse intercultural skills possible through exchange with foreign cultures. Students can either stay abroad at one of our partner universities or complete an internship in a non-German-speaking country. There is currently financial support available through the Erasmus program (e.g. between 320 and 420 euros depending on the country chosen).
Information on funding opportunities can be found here.

There is also the option of completing a double degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) in Queensland/Australia and at the International College of Management (ICMS) in Sidney. Further programs with double degrees are also being planned. Information events are held regularly to request information material and find out more.

In 2021, we were recognized as a "European University" by the DAAD.

As a student, take advantage of the excellent location of our university in the middle of the metropolitan area Rhine-Neckar.

We integrate practical presentations and project work with companies into our education so that our students come into contact with company management and can present and discuss their work in front of these company representatives.

We are pleased that these activities repeatedly provide us with internships and that many students are hired after successfully completing their studies.

Another exciting option is the opportunity to write your Master's thesis together with a company. We will support you in finding the right balance between high scientific standards and a topic that is relevant to the company.

The experience and results of the research projects carried out by the lecturers flow directly into our training. The Department's research institutes play a central role in this. During their studies, they offer our students the opportunity to work on specific application-oriented research projects and to apply and deepen what they have learned in the Master's program. Take advantage of this opportunity!

In recent semesters, we have noticed an increasing interest among our graduates in the topic of cooperative doctorates. Several graduates are currently research assistants / doctoral candidates at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society in cooperation with lecturers at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society and with a university. We will be happy to inform you about the doctoral process at our university and about funding and supervision opportunities.
