Educational certificates that entitle you to study at a university.
A list of qualifications for university entrance:

• General higher education entrance qualification / subject-specific higher education entrance qualification (also Wirtschaftsgymnasium)
  
• School-based part of the Fachhochschulreife (e.g. leaving 12th grade Gymnasium):
  only applies in conjunction with completed vocational training or a one-year guided internship. The completion of a voluntary social or ecological year and the completion of a federal voluntary service are also recognized. (practical part of the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences)*. The corresponding certificates for the academic and practical part of the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences must be uploaded to the application portal.
  
• Berufs-/Fachoberschule / Berufskolleg FHR e.g. for business, technology, social work, industrial (Fachhochschulreife)
  
• Höhere Berufsfachschule, Höhere Handelsschule, 2-year vocational college (state-certified assistants):
  The Fachhochschulreife for Rhineland-Palatinate or Germany is only available in conjunction with a six-month internship ** (which was completed before, during or after graduation), 2 years of professional activity or a completed apprenticeship (practical part of the Fachhochschulreife)*. The corresponding certificates for the school and practical part of the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences must be uploaded to the application portal.
  
• University entrance for vocationally qualified persons:
  Persons who can prove that they have completed vocational training with a qualifying result (overall grade point average from vocational qualification and vocational school certificate) of at least 2.5 receive a direct qualification for university entrance to study at universities of applied sciences and a direct subject-specific qualification for university entrance to study at universities. Persons who have completed a further vocational qualification through a master craftsman's examination or a comparable examination thus receive a direct qualification for university entrance to study at universities of applied sciences and universities (§ 65, para. 2 HochSchG).

*Important: The practical part of the qualification for university entrance must be completed when applying for dual degree programs not have to be proven

** For school-leavers who graduated before 2009/2010, the six-month internship must have taken place after school. IMPORTANT: Internships before or during school attendance cannot be accepted!
