On September 22, 2025, the new Competence Center for Leadership Experience was officially opened at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society.
With the Center, HWG Ludwigshafen is providing an important impetus for the future of study, research and practice. The aim is to offer students, managers and organizations practical impulses for the further development of leadership skills and personal development.

The Center is managed by the founders Prof. Dr. Michael Zipfel and Prof. Dr. Burkhard Schmidt. Together with companies, public institutions and international partners, they want to open up new avenues for interdisciplinary exchange. In addition to regular events, integration into existing degree programs is also planned.
The Competence Center at HWG Ludwigshafen is a place that embodies openness, exchange and development - and opens up new perspectives for students and managers alike.
